Meet Frito!

This adorable little pup is ready to find her forever family! Frito was born around March 4, 2026. While we're not sure exactly what breeds she's mixed with, we anticipate she'll grow into a medium-sized, active dog. Frito may be a puppy, but she's not your typical wild child. This sweet, thoughtful girl has a gentle soul and is happiest when she's close to the people she loves. Once Frito bonds with you, she'll quickly become your little shadow. Whether you're walking around the house, relaxing on the couch, or heading out for a stroll, she wants to be right by your side. She loves playing with her people, enjoys pets and attention, and is perfectly content to curl up nearby with a chew toy or bone. She even makes the cutest little pig-like grunts when she's excited or happy! Frito is a medium- to low-energy puppy who is surprisingly laid back for her age. While she still enjoys playtime and, like any puppy, will need exercise, training, and supervision, she's often happiest just hanging out with her favorite humans. Right now, Frito is still learning that the world isn't so scary. New people, unfamiliar places, loud noises, and even stairs can make her nervous. She tends to hide behind her trusted person when meeting someone new, but with patience, positive experiences, and gentle encouragement, she's already beginning to grow more confident. Frito's dream job? Risk analyst! She carefully evaluates every new situation before deciding if it's safe, making her a thoughtful little observer rather than a leap-before-you-look adventurer. She has done well living with cats and has the potential to thrive in a cat-friendly home with continued guidance. She sometimes invites feline friends to play with an adorable play bow but is also happy to ignore them much of the time. While she lives with other dogs, Frito is much more interested in people than canine companions. She can become overwhelmed by energetic dogs, especially when they're barking, roughhousing, or getting the zoomies. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will adore you with her whole heart and reward your patience with unwavering devotion, Frito is ready to find the family she's been waiting for.

Frito would thrive in a quieter home with patient adopters who understand that confidence takes time to build. Older children who can respect her gentle nature would be a great fit, while a busy household with young children or highly active pets may be too much for this sensitive girl.
