Dia is a delightful pup from nose to tail, embodying perfection in many ways! She's potty trained and a good eater, though she has a preference for certain spots for her business. Dia quickly settled into her foster home, finding her predecessor's old bed to be just right and sleeping soundly. She's a curious explorer, using her nose to understand her surroundings – a sign of a healthy, happy dog! Dia is also respectful of other animals, including a shy kitty who initiated their first meeting. She enjoys walks, though she can be a little startled by her shadow at night. Dia is learning from her foster brother, Murphy, and even shares meals with him.
While initially shy, Dia blossoms with trust and will shower her humans with kisses. She would thrive in a quiet, low-key home and has shown no aggression towards people, dogs, or cats. She's met other foster pups and visiting dogs with great success, observing and learning their play styles. Dia is adaptable and would be a wonderful companion for a family with children, cats, other dogs, or even elderly individuals. She's getting accustomed to car rides and seems to enjoy them, even eyeing the shotgun seat! Dia is a patient and well-behaved dog who waits to be fed and before heading out on walks. She sleeps often, eats well, and isn't interested in toys or guarding possessions. Though she takes time to warm up to new people and pets, once she feels secure, she'll lean on you, rest by your side, and offer plenty of kisses. Her sparkling eyes hint at an old soul, and she's becoming more confident exploring her surroundings. Dia is intelligent and learns quickly. She doesn't demand much and is content anywhere as long as she feels wanted. She alerts to sounds and scents but only barks briefly when necessary. Dia will undoubtedly be a perfect, loving companion for anyone, in any size home.
