Buddy

Buddy is an 11-month-old, 40-pound Frenchie/Golden mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is a true survivor who, just a couple of months ago, suffered a broken pelvis after being struck by a vehicle. Thanks to proper care, rest, and his incredible spirit, he has made an amazing recovery and has been cleared for full activity! Now that he’s feeling great, Buddy is ready to enjoy life to the fullest, and he’s hoping to find a family to share it with. Buddy is a playful, energetic pup who absolutely loves his morning zoomies and outdoor adventures. He enjoys playtime, chewing on his favorite bones, and being part of the action. When the day winds down, he turns into a total cuddle bug who just wants to be close to his people. If you’re looking for a resilient, loving, playful companion who has already proven how strong and special he is, Buddy might just be your perfect match. Buddy is ready for his fresh start... could it be with you?

Ideal Home

Buddy would do best in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can safely sniff and roam due to his curious nature and love of exploring. He also does well with other dogs and would love a canine companion to play with. He is best suited for a home with children over the age of 10. A physical fence is required.

Ongoing Health

Buddy has made an amazing recovery from a broken pelvis and has been cleared for full activity.

Training & Support

Buddy is still young and will benefit from continued training and guidance as he grows into the best version of himself. He’s smart, eager, and ready to learn with the right family by his side.

• Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis.
• On-site adoption is available to pre-approved applicants only.

Transportation

Some of our adoptable dogs are shown at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. If you are interested in Buddy, you can email mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if he will be at the event.
