About Shetland Sheepdog Puppies

We have puppies!! These precious puppies were born at the end of April and are available. We own both parents. The dam is an AKC champion - beautiful redish sable and is about 14 1/2 inches tall. She's playful and friendly. The sire is a lighter sable and is only 3 points away from his championship already. We are expecting great things from him in the future. He's friendly and happy and beautiful. Both of their parents have parents who are Grand Champion, Best in Specialty Show ... need I say more?

We have 2 males available. One we may keep to show unless we find the perfect home. They will be vet checked and have their first set of shots when they leave. We stress great temperaments and socialize our puppies extensively. They are $2500.00. Please reach out to learn more.

Meet Cedarbreaks. Pam and Bud Wendel live outside Cincinnati, Ohio and breed Shetland Sheepdogs. Bud also has extensive experience in Field Labs and Field Goldens. We belong to the Kentuckiana Shetland Sheepdog Club, and the Queen City Dog Training Club in Sharonville, OH. We show and breed Sable Shetland Sheepdogs, and we prioritize temperament and keeping close to the Sheltie Standard in look. We are a small hobby breeder, and we focus on health and temperament along with the breed standard. We've been lucky to be mentored by many notable Sheltie breeders, and have improved our lines with each generation. We love the sables - even though my first Sheltie was a tri-factor. Our puppies are raised in our home and are confident and stable when they leave. We'd be happy to answer any questions you have and see if one of our dogs would make a good fit for you.
