Silk is a beautiful 3-year-old, 65lb Standard Poodle who is heartworm negative and fully vetted. She's a loving dog who had a difficult start, losing her home after a family tragedy. Despite her past, Silk has maintained a gentle, sweet, humble, and affectionate spirit. She walks beautifully on a leash, is completely house-trained, and has wonderful manners. She adores children, gets along great with other dogs, and is even cat-friendly. Silk simply wants to be near her people and feel loved again. As a bonus, she is low-shedding, making her a wonderful companion for many families. She's not looking for perfection, just a second chance at a forever home.
