At just a year and a half old, this beautiful Husky mix is still discovering the world with the excitement of a puppy. Every walk is an adventure. Every toy is her favorite toy. Every person is a new best friend. She assumes every dog is ready to play and absolutely adores other dogs. She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body; her only "fault" is that she loves a little too enthusiastically. She has a big, goofy play style and doesn't always realize when another dog is ready for a break. She's not being mean; she simply hasn't mastered the art of taking a hint yet, but she's still learning and trying so hard. That willingness to learn is one of the many things that makes Sheeba so special. She attended obedience training and has already learned sit, heel, and place, continuing to impress everyone with how eager she is to please. She recently attended the Recovery Walk in downtown Middlesboro, where she calmly met children and adults of all ages. She took in the music, the crowds, and the excitement, making everyone proud with her sweet, friendly personality. She truly loves people and wants nothing more than to be included. At home, she is happy entertaining herself with a toy, playing a game of fetch, or spending time outside enjoying the fresh air. She isn't destructive, she's crate trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and simply enjoys being part of the family. She may dig the occasional hole, but that's just part of her adventurous spirit! Sheeba has so much life left to live and so much love left to give.
Ideal Home
Sheeba would thrive with a family that has a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs during the day and then come inside to spend the evenings surrounded by the people she loves. She'd also do best with playful canine companions who enjoy her energetic style, or as the star of the show, soaking up all the love for herself.
