Meet Clairee, a 48-pound sweetheart with a gentle and sensitive soul. She can be a bit timid in new environments, but with patience and reassurance, her true affectionate nature blossoms. Clairee is a house-trained and crate-trained girl who is also dog-friendly. She was found abandoned with her mom and siblings, and she's come a long way from her uncertain beginnings. Clairee was born on April 23, 2023, and is currently in a foster home.
Ideal Home
Clairee would thrive in a quiet, understanding home where she'll be given the time she needs to build trust and confidence. A calm canine companion would also be a wonderful addition to help her feel more secure as she settles in.
Ongoing Health
Clairee is current on all vaccinations and flea/heartworm prevention. She has received deworming and a fecal analysis. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption, and she will be microchipped.
Training & Support
Clairee is house-trained and crate-trained. While she is still building confidence in new situations, she is eager to please and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and gentle guidance.

- Your adoption interview and meet-and-greet will take place via video call.
- Our adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee. This fee covers vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, fecal analysis, spay/neuter (for pets 6 months and older), and a heartworm test (if applicable).
- Please be aware that adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis. We prioritize finding the best possible home for each animal.
Transportation
Clairee is currently located in Fort Worth, Texas, but is available for transport. We transport our dogs to predetermined locations agreed upon by Wags, and the adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
