Rye is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, weighing 56 lbs and still has a little more to gain. He's a happy-go-lucky boy with a smile that could brighten anyone's day. Rye is affectionate, loves to snuggle, and is always ready for an adventure. He greets everyone like they're his best friend and approaches each day with infectious enthusiasm.

Ideal Home

Rye would thrive in a home that enjoys playtime, walks, and a bit of structure. While he can adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise and enrichment, a house with a yard would be his dream come true.

Training & Support

Rye can get a little jumpy when excited, but he's learning quickly that sitting earns him more praise. He needs some polishing on his leash skills as he can be a bit boisterous, but he's very responsive to corrections and motivated by treats. He is considered cat-tolerant and would benefit from slow introductions to any feline housemates.
