Meet Freddy! At just around 6-7 months old and approximately 29 lbs, Freddy is a delightful black poodle mix with plenty of growing to do. He embodies the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and sweet, affectionate companionship.
Freddy found his way to us after being discovered as a stray at a rural shelter. When no one came forward to claim him, we knew we had to offer him a second chance at a happy life, and we're so glad we did! He's a dog who brings smiles every single day. Freddy is incredibly loving, eager to please, and always ready for his next adventure. Whether he's enjoying playtime with another dog, exploring the backyard, or basking in affection from his people, Freddy approaches life with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He's friendly with dogs and children, motivated by treats, and already knows how to sit. He willingly retreats to his crate when he desires a safe space to relax and shows all the signs of being a bright pup eager to learn more. With consistent positive reinforcement for house training and plenty of treats, Freddy is sure to achieve great things! When Freddy first arrived, he seemed a bit hesitant with gentle touch, occasionally flinching or pulling away, which made us wonder about his past experiences. However, whatever he may have faced is now behind him. Each day, he's growing more confident, more trusting, and more excited about the wonderful future ahead. His resilience is truly inspiring!
Ideal Home
Freddy would thrive in an active home where he can burn off energy and learn from a playful canine companion. A securely fenced yard would be a significant plus, as would a family eager to continue his training and help him blossom into an amazing adult dog.
Ongoing Health
Freddy has been neutered and is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. He is also current on heartworm and flea prevention.

Freddy is treat-motivated and eager to please. With consistent positive reinforcement for house training and continued training, he will undoubtedly excel.
