Maya

Maya is a sweet and promising pup who is about 5 to 6 months old and currently weighs 38lbs. She's likely to grow into a larger dog, and with her double rear dewclaws, she might have some Great Pyrenees in her ancestry. Maya and another dog were found abandoned in a rural area, which meant she had limited exposure to the world. Despite this, she has settled wonderfully into her foster home and is doing fantastic with kids and another dog. She has also met the resident feline and seems to be adjusting well. Maya is already a pro at leash walking and is housetrained in her foster home. She's also a decent car rider!

Ideal Home

Maya would thrive in a home that can accommodate her potential larger size and provide her with continued socialization and new experiences.

Ongoing Health

Maya is up-to-date on her vaccinations and preventatives. She has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Maya is housetrained and walks well on a leash. Continued positive reinforcement and exposure to new environments will help her blossom.

Transporation

Maya is currently in a foster home in Charleston, SC. Adopters must be able to travel to Charleston to complete the adoption process.
