1161 Sterling NKA Madison

Madison, a mini blue merle female Australian Shepherd, is a true gem weighing in at 28 lbs. While her exact age is a gentle mystery, our veterinarians estimate she's somewhere between 6 and 10 years young. She's an older girl with plenty of spunk and an endless supply of sweetness to share. Madison came to us from a hoarding situation, but she's blossomed beautifully in her foster home! She's already mastered house training and crate training, walks wonderfully on a leash, and is a quick learner when it comes to new commands.

Ideal Home

Madison would love a home that will shower her with the TLC she deserves and understand that she's an older girl ready for a comfortable retirement filled with love. She's shown to be great with other dogs and has even had positive nose-to-nose introductions with cats, making her a potential fit for multi-pet households.

Ongoing Health

Madison is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for all tick-borne diseases. She recently underwent a dental procedure to address her urgent dental needs. She is also on monthly prevention for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.

Training & Support

Madison has already made excellent progress in her foster home, mastering house training, crate training, and leash walking. She's a fast learner and eager to please, so continuing with positive reinforcement for basic commands will surely be a breeze.
