Alabama - Crate/Leash/House Trained. Good w dogs & cats

Meet Alabama, a resilient 6-year-old Heeler Mix who is looking for a hero! He was saved from euthanasia along with his littermates and has blossomed beautifully since arriving with us. Alabama has graduated from training and is now a pro at leash, crate, and house training, and he even knows some basic commands. He's also a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and even house pigs!

Ideal Home

Alabama would do best in a home with teens and older, as he is still a work in progress. A fenced yard is highly recommended to give him space to explore and feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Alabama has been fully vetted, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receiving all necessary deworming and parasite prevention. He is up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Alabama is a quick learner and has mastered basic commands, leash manners, and house training. While he's not quite ready for couch cuddles just yet, his journey will be incredibly rewarding for the patient and loving adopter who understands that healing takes time.
