Norma Jeane is an approximately 8-year-old, 10lb poodle girl who is as playful and spunky as they come! She certainly acts like a lively, playful gal and lives for the ball. Her ideal day would consist of chasing a ball non-stop, with short breaks for naps. Norma is wonderful with people, especially young children who are respectful around dogs. She is very sweet to other people, but she is not a cuddler; she wants to play or be independent. If you're looking for an awesome sidekick who is game for anything, then Norma is just what you're looking for. She has a medium energy level and would enjoy going along for the ride, whether in your arms or in a stroller. Once inside with a ball, it's game on! Norma has not exhibited any separation anxiety and is non-destructive when left to roam freely. She is great in the car and loves looking out the window. Norma coexists perfectly with other dogs, but she does not like super energetic dogs that get in her space. Another laid-back dog would be great, but she would also be perfectly content as a solo dog! Overall, Norma is just a wonderful, lively little pup who is looking for a BFF to do life with.
Ideal Home
An adopter who wants to play fetch with her at least 4 times a day is required. Norma is not a cuddler and would prefer a home that understands she's not a lap dog.
Ongoing Health
Norma Jeane has successfully completed heartworm injections. She was unable to be spayed prior to treatment as heartworm treatment was the priority. Wags will work with the adopter on an appropriate spay date prior to leaving.
Training & Support
Norma is not 100% potty trained. If a back door is left open, she will do her business outside. However, if you're not watching her and the door is closed, she might have an accident inside. She has not yet mastered letting her humans know when she needs to potty. She does well in an extra-large crate and never potties in it, which is a great option when her human isn't home.
