Shadow is a charming 5-month-old Shepherd mix who urgently needs a loving home to recover from an upper respiratory infection. He's currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter and has been since May 11, 2026. This sweet boy is ready to leave the shelter environment and find a safe, comfortable place to get well.

Shadow needs a quiet and calm environment where he can rest and recuperate. Due to his current health situation, a home that can provide attentive care is ideal.

Transportation

Shadow is located at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter. We can arrange transportation for adopters on the West Coast, but adopters will be responsible for any associated transport fees.
