Kelso

Kelso's story is a tough one, but it has a happy ending in sight! He was adopted as a puppy, and we thought he had found his forever home. Sadly, just before Christmas, he was abandoned at a veterinary clinic, and we were able to bring him back into our care. Despite this heartbreaking experience, Kelso is an absolutely wonderful dog. He's lived successfully with young children, other dogs, and even chickens! He's house-trained, kennel-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is generally an easygoing companion who loves everyone he meets. Kelso knows his basic commands and is a pure joy to have around. He loves walks, relaxing indoors or outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his people. He's not a demanding pup; he just wants a family who will cherish him and give him the stable, loving home he deserves.

Ideal Home

Kelso has previously lived happily with a young child and other dogs. He has also coexisted with chickens.

Ongoing Health

Kelso is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Kelso is house-trained and kennel-trained, and he walks beautifully on a leash. He knows his basic commands and is described as easygoing.
