Hi there! My name is Chong, and I'm a sweet and gentle adult boy looking for a quiet haven to call my own. I can be a little overwhelmed in new situations, but I promise I blossom with patience and kindness. I walk well on a leash, though sometimes loud noises can startle me, and I might need a little encouragement to keep going. I really appreciate it when my person sits with me and helps me feel safe and confident. I'm hoping that with a calm environment and some gentle guidance, I'll gain even more confidence and enjoy short strolls in the yard. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely adore belly rubs! Sometimes, when I'm outside and just enjoying the moment, I'll lay down for a little rest. I'm still figuring out how I feel about cats and children, but my biggest wish is a peaceful home where I can feel secure and loved.

I'm still working on building my confidence, especially around loud noises. A patient approach and positive reinforcement will go a long way! I sometimes like to relax and lay down when I don't want our walk to end.
