Meet Jack! Jack is a gentle, sweet soul who is looking for a patient and understanding family to help him discover just how wonderful life can be. Having spent most of his life as a street dog, Jack is still learning to feel comfortable indoors and can be a little skittish in new situations. He needs a home that will move at his pace, giving him the time and space to build trust and come out of his shell on his own terms. We believe Jack may not have always been treated kindly by people, which has made him understandably cautious around new humans. Despite his difficult past, he has remained incredibly gentle and kind-hearted. He does well with children and other animals, showing a sweet nature that shines through once he feels safe. Jack may take a little extra time and patience, but for the person willing to give him a chance, he has the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion. Watching him learn to trust and blossom will be a rewarding journey for the family lucky enough to call him their own.
Ideal Home
Jack would thrive in a home with a large, secure yard where he can stretch his legs, explore, and enjoy the freedom he is accustomed to. He would also benefit greatly from having another confident, friendly dog in the home to help show him that people can be trusted and that life with a loving family is something special.
