Hi, my name is Ned! I'm a handsome boy with a beautiful coat that looks black but shimmers with brown in the sunshine, and I have adorable white "socks" on my toes. My cute long nose and ears have finally grown into place, and with my distinguished white chin hairs, I sport a charming goatee! I arrived in Minnesota from New Mexico with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky, as part of "The Three Amigos!" I'm a champion snuggler and love to play, especially with anything that rolls or unstuffed toys for tug-o-war. While I'm still learning, I'm eager to please and am working hard to be the best boy I can be. I have a playful spirit, a big heart, and a whole lot of love to give!
Ideal Home
I would thrive in a home that can offer plenty of playtime, walks, and training opportunities. I absolutely love being on the sofa and would be over the moon if I could sleep in bed with my family. I need another dog to live with, as I rely on my canine companions for support, comfort, and warmth. I get along well with dogs of all sizes and enjoy wrestling and playing with them. I'm also friendly with kids and have a 10-year-old human foster sister who adores me.
Ongoing Health
I'm generally healthy, but I can sometimes have little "accidents" inside if I can't hold it, so please watch for my signals! I'm also a fast drinker, so my water is rationed daily. I don't love the cold weather but am happy to wear cute coats!
Training & Support
I know "sit," "off," and "come," and I'm working on "down," "stay," and "wait." I think training classes would be a fantastic way for us to bond! I used to be a bit naughty when I first arrived, but I'm improving every day. I'm still learning not to jump on furniture, but I'm getting the hang of "off." I can sometimes bark and jump a little when meeting new people, but I'm trying my best to show them I'm a good boy.
