Meet Joey! He's a handsome 4-year-old Doodle mix who is looking for a peaceful place to finally call home. Joey is a sensitive soul who has made incredible progress in his foster home and is ready to start his next chapter with his forever family. He's a well-behaved boy who enjoys just relaxing by your feet and is completely trustworthy and non-destructive. Joey is also cat-friendly and does not bother the resident cats in his foster home. He's fully crate-trained, has excellent recall, and enjoys his daily walks. A predictable routine helps him thrive!

Ideal Home

Joey is a sensitive guy who is very attached to his foster mom and completely relaxed with her. However, he is still guarded and nervous around men and fast movements. Because of this, Joey is looking for a quiet, calm, and predictable home environment, free from loud or hyper households. He would do best in a home without young children. A patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time is essential. Ideally, Joey would do well with a female adopter or a home prepared to let him bond at his own slow pace.
