Franck is a young Jack Russell Terrier mix with a playful spirit and a very loving personality. He is a social and happy puppy who enjoys being around people and other dogs. He gets along well with dogs, children, men, and women. Franck is very playful and absolutely loves being petted and receiving constant affection. Human attention makes him feel safe and content. Franck was found abandoned in the trash, suffering from severe mange that badly damaged his tail. Sadly, he lost part of his tail due to the condition. Now healthy and full of life, Franck is ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will love him, play with him, and give him the care he deserves.
Ideal Home
Franck would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a family with a real intention to rescue a dog and an open conscience about the needs of street animals. Experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, is highly desired. He requires high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies.
Ongoing Health
Franck is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. He has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. He is on monthly preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. He has a health certificate and vaccine booklet. He previously suffered from severe mange that resulted in the loss of part of his tail.
Training & Support
Franck is not house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences and need time to adapt. Patience and understanding are crucial to build trust and strengthen the bond.

- If it's a match, you will have a call or video chat to be introduced to the pet and have a virtual home tour.
- 1-2 references will be contacted.
- If approved, you'll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
Transportation
Franck is currently being fostered in Matamoros, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a transport fee of $400 USD. This includes scheduled trips 3-4 times a year with a contracted transport company that escorts pets across the border into Texas. Real-time updates will be provided via a private Facebook Messenger group.
