Daffy is a 2-year-old, neutered male Plott Hound Mix weighing around 65 pounds. He's a resilient and fun-loving boy who was rescued from the euthanasia list at BARC in Houston, Texas, just in the nick of time! Thanks to Dizzy Dog Animal Rescue and his incredible foster mom, Daffy got his second chance at life and is now eagerly awaiting his furever family. He absolutely adores playing with other dogs and is a star at doggy daycare, where he's earned honor roll status! Daffy is fully house-trained and crate-trained, seeing his crate as a safe space for meals. He knows his name, comes when called, and enjoys playing catch and being by his person's side. Daffy is a loyal, energetic, and fun companion ready to bring joy and excitement to his new home.
Ideal Home
Daffy thrives on activity and companionship. He would do best in a home with other playful dogs and an active family who can match his energy. Because of his size and occasional excitement, he'd be a better fit for a home with children over 10 years old.

Training & Support
Daffy is still learning leash manners and tends to pull and zigzag, but he's eager to learn with some guidance. When left unsupervised, he may "relocate" household items to the yard, so crating him while you're away is recommended. With patience and training, he'll continue to grow into the wonderful companion he's meant to be.

- Transports run every few weeks, and we will schedule your dog on the next available transport once approved. If you cannot accept a dog until a specific time, please apply at that time.
