Ronin and Yuri

Meet Ronin and Yuri, a bonded pair of incredible dogs who have survived so much and stayed loyal to each other through it all. They dream of a home with space to run; a ranch, farm, or large property would be perfect.

Ronin, rescued in Bucerias, is sweet, happy, and toy-obsessed. He even knows how to shake a paw! He is great with people but unpredictable with other dogs, except for Yuri, his best friend. No cats or kids are recommended for Ronin.

Yuri was abandoned near the shelter and arrived sick, but she is now fully recovered. She is a quiet, gentle girl who can be timid at first, but with patience, she blossoms. Yuri is smart, trainable, and loves the water.

There is a reduced adoption fee for adopting them together. If you have the space and heart for this duo, please reach out – they deserve their forever home.

Ideal Home

A spacious ranch, farm, or large property where they have room to run. Not recommended for homes with cats or young children.

Ongoing Health

Yuri arrived sick but has made a full recovery.

Training & Support

Ronin can be unpredictable with other dogs, so guidance on continued socialization (with Yuri only) will be beneficial. Yuri is described as smart and trainable, and will likely thrive with continued positive reinforcement.

Transportation

This duo is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We work with flight companions to transport dogs to adopters in the US and Canada. If a Canadian flight companion is unavailable during the summer months, transportation to Peace Arch Park at the border may be an option.
