Meet Peanut, a charming 2-year-old Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love to give! Peanut is a sweet boy who found himself needing a new home and is currently thriving in a foster environment with other dogs. He's a bit shy and timid, which is completely understandable given his recent life changes. He's looking for a patient and loving family who can help him build his confidence and show him all the wonderful things life has to offer. Peanut adores cuddles and lap time, and he truly wants to be right by his person's side. He's a petite 8 pounds, making him an easy companion to take just about anywhere.

Ideal Home

Peanut would do best in a home where he can receive lots of gentle affection and patience as he adjusts. He's still learning about the world, including leash walking, enjoying yard time, and discovering his favorite foods.

Ongoing Health

Peanut is neutered and vaccinated, and has no known health concerns.

Training & Support

Peanut is already crate trained and sleeps through the night, which is a great start! He has a lot to learn, like leash manners, but with consistency and love, he'll be a pro in no time.
