Chucky has had a challenging start to life and is dreaming of a loving home where he can be pampered and truly blossom. He arrived with his littermates, and it's heartbreaking to say one didn't make it. They all suffered from severe skin infections, worms, and fleas, arriving in truly dire condition. Thankfully, with dedicated care over the past few months, Chucky is on the mend and slowly regaining his strength. He's a timid and quiet boy, but he readily accepts affection and enjoys being showered with love. After a little playtime, he adores snuggling into soft, warm beds. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has even been around horses!

Chucky has received excellent care for past skin infections, worms, and fleas and is on the road to full recovery.
Training & Support
As Chucky is still a bit shy, consistent positive reinforcement will help him build confidence. He's already showing he's a good boy and enjoys his naps after some fun!
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- All of our dogs receive age-appropriate vaccinations.
- If over 6 months old, they are spayed or neutered. If under 6 months, the adopter is responsible for this between 6 and 10 months of age. We can offer low-cost options.
- All dogs are microchipped with a lifetime free membership and dewormed. They will go home with a 3 to 5-day dewormer.
- Any known medical conditions are disclosed.
- Adult dogs are heartworm tested, and their status is disclosed.
- Adoption fees range from $150 to $400 and are non-negotiable. These fees help us care for our current and future animals.
- We are a 501c3 non-profit rescue and house over 100 dogs and 10 horses. Please be patient, but if you don't hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application, please reach out.
- We do not offer walk-through "choose a dog/puppy" experiences. We are partially foster-based. We can help match dogs if you have something specific in mind. You can meet pets only with approved applicants.
Transportation
Chucky is located at our rescue. We offer relay transport for out-of-state or out-of-area adopters for a small additional fee to cover health certificates and additional vetting required for private interstate travel.
