A little about them
Meet Lila, a 5-month-old, 20-pound Australian Shepherd mix with a beautiful blue merle coat. Found as a stray with her siblings, she is a little shy but trusting, playful, affectionate, and ready to discover the joys of couches, cozy beds, belly rubs, and loving humans.
Lila enjoys people and other dogs. She would do best with older, laid-back, dog-savvy children and a patient family who can help her build confidence. She is still learning about cats and leash walking.
Ideal Home
Lila needs a dog-savvy family with a large, securely fenced yard. Her adopters should be patient and excited to help her become a confident, well-mannered canine companion.
Ongoing Health
Her adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping with no annual fee, flea and tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Spay/neuter will be completed at a partner veterinarian.
Training & Support
Lila is still learning that walks can be fun and will benefit from continued training, encouragement, and confidence-building. She is playful and affectionate once she feels comfortable.
