Buddy

Look at this handsome fella! This is Buddy! He was the product of being dumped, but that doesn't define him! This boy LOVES big! He is very playful and smart! He LOVES toys, most especially his KONG (with peanut butter) and his squeaky toy! He loves to watch TV, hang out on the couch, or by the pool. He is not at all aggressive and he leans into you for love. He is fine with other dogs, curious of the resident cat, but doesn't bother him. Buddy is one of the sweetest pitties we have ever come across! He deserves happiness too! Forever.

Ideal Home

Buddy is looking for a retired or active family. He's a couch potato and lounger, but he can also run and play with the best of them! He is scared of men and will not be placed in a home where there is a man.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is up to date on vaccines and has just completed heartworm treatment. He is now neutered and microchipped. He was a fan favorite at the vets office!

Training & Support

Buddy is crate trained and working on housetraining, as he will mark if he smells another male dog in the house. He is hesitant about getting in the car and it takes some coaxing, but this is the fear of being dumped again. This will take time, but he will build confidence there. He would be fine as an only dog too.

• The adoption fee is $100. This covers his vet exam, all vaccines, heartworm test, prevention, neuter, and chip.

Transportation

Buddy is located at our rescue. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
