Ms. Lady the Great Pyrenees

Ms. Lady is a gorgeous Great Pyrenees mix who is super sweet and friendly with people and dogs. She has an easy-going disposition, so she would likely be fine with cats too! Lady is about 6 years old and weighs 68 pounds. She's a low-maintenance girl with low to medium energy. In her foster home, she lives with 30 other dogs and has shown that typical, easy-going Pyr personality. Lady is just happy to be in a home where she's treated well and doesn't have to worry about her next meal. She came to a Texas shelter with another Great Pyrenees mix, possibly her brother, after their owners surrendered them for letting them roam free. While her brother went to a local rescue, Lady is now with us, waiting for her forever family.

Ideal Home

Lady would likely do well in a home with or without other pets, given her friendly and easy-going nature. A big, beautiful backyard would be a plus for her to romp around in, as she is rarely leashed in her current foster home.

Ongoing Health

Ms. Lady is fully vetted and in good health. She is heartworm negative, has no tick-borne diseases, and is on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Lady is crate-trained and house-trained. She could use a little more leash training, but with consistent positive reinforcement, she'll surely get the hang of it.
