Tae is a 2-year-old pup who had a rough start, spending over two months in a shelter environment that sadly led to him being placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a wonderful foster stepped up just in time to save him! Tae is a sweet, friendly, and incredibly snuggly boy who has shown nothing but love for people. He was a little nervous in new situations at first, but he quickly settled into his foster home, revealing a curious and playful personality. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and has even shown tolerance towards the resident cat! Tae is active but not overly so, and his favorite things are belly rubs, cuddles, and being close to his people. He’s an adaptable and affectionate dog who easily picks up on the energy around him.
Ideal Home
Tae would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and attention. He’s done well with other dogs and the resident cat in his foster home. Because he can be a bit unsure in new situations, he would do best in a home with older children (13+) who understand the need to give him space and help him build confidence. Once Tae bonds with his person, he is incredibly loyal and will stick by their side.
Ongoing Health
Tae has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Tae is still learning some basic manners, such as not exploring trash cans for snacks and refraining from jumping up for attention. However, he is highly responsive to verbal correction and with continued training and reinforcement, these behaviors should be easily corrected. He listens well, walks nicely on a leash, and is content to relax in his crate when needed.
