Stormy Skye - Located in TX

Stormy Skye was a superhero mom, keeping her puppies safe on the streets of Houston during a terrible cold freeze. Now, this loving and even-tempered girl is ready for her own hero to find her a home! She’s affectionate, has a good bit of drive, and seems to have had some training in her past. Stormy was quite thin when she arrived in February but is showing more of her wonderful personality as she gains weight and starts to decompress. We already adore her!

Ideal Home

Stormy is wonderful around older children. We haven't fully introduced her to other dogs yet, as she's been focused on raising her puppies. She'll need time and patience to heal from her experiences as a solo mom.

Ongoing Health

Stormy is heartworm positive, which is common in Texas. Her case is not a heavy infestation, and MAD is covering the cost of her treatment. As she regains her strength, we expect to see more of her playful and driven nature shine through.

Training & Support

She’s already showing signs of having received some training, and we're excited to discover more about her personality as she settles in. We know she's a loving and affectionate companion who will blossom with the right care.

Transportation

Stormy Skye is located in Texas. If you are within 4 hours of her location, you will be expected to pick her up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles, but the applicant must drive the remainder of the distance.
