Grits "GiGi"

Hi, I'm Grits, but my foster mom calls me Gigi! I'm an 11-month-old, 44-pound female mix of Bull Terrier, American Pitbull Terrier, and Staffordshire Terrier. I was the runt of my litter and am on the smaller side for my breed. I'm super cute, silly, and have a huge personality! My favorite things include zoomies, playing with my foster siblings, squeaky toys, peanut butter, and snuggling with my humans. I'm a little unsure in new surroundings but warm up quickly. I get along well with other dogs and would likely do well with cats and kids too, even younger ones! I am a chewer, so plenty of appropriate chew toys are a must.

Ideal Home

A home with space to run and play, and perhaps another dog or cat to snuggle with. If not, human companionship will do, but be prepared for me to want to be with you for potty breaks, sleeping, and meals. I promise not to steal food off your plate, but I do love to "taste test" what you're having!

Training & Support

I'm working on house training and do okay in my kennel for short periods. I'm learning "sit," "down," and recall. I'm motivated by treats and affection, mostly treats! I am a chewer, so make sure I have plenty of appropriate chew toys to keep me busy. I also snore when I sleep and my farts are loud (but don't stink!).
