Meet Zed, a gentle giant in training with a heart as big as his paws! This handsome German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix puppy is impossible not to love. With his striking black coat, warm tan markings, adorable white chest patch, and one little white sock, Zed has a look that's as sweet as his personality!
Zed is a thoughtful boy who can be a little timid at first, but he warms up quickly to reveal his affectionate and playful side. Once he feels safe, he loves being close to his people and soaking up every bit of attention. He has a wonderfully balanced personality, enjoying play with his siblings and exploring, but also content to entertain himself or relax nearby. He thrives on routine and has adapted beautifully to a structured schedule, making great progress with pee pad and crate training. Zed has been exposed to children and does wonderfully with them, and gets along well with adult dogs. He's also been introduced to cats and can comfortably share space with them. His calm, easygoing nature means he goes with the flow and brings a peaceful presence wherever he goes. He’s happy to play and cuddle, but also has the confidence for a little independence. Like all puppies, Zed will need patience, consistency, and continued training as he grows. You’ll gain a loyal companion with a gentle spirit and a loving heart!

Transportation
Zed is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Transport is available to these locations. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
