Thor Good Shepherd

Thor is a 4-month-old German Shepherd with a unique black and beige coat and a personality that feels wise beyond his puppy months. He has an old-soul energy and is more of a quiet observer than the center of attention, but he'll certainly steal your heart! Thor enjoys playtime and can be quite affectionate when the mood strikes, striking a perfect balance between independence and devotion. He's an "introverted extrovert" – calm on his own, but social and communicative when engaged. Rescued from the Galveston shelter and now in foster care, Thor has adapted beautifully to home life, responding well to routine, kennel training, and commands. He gets along with other dogs and adults, and is generally a quiet and adaptable pup.

Ongoing Health

Thor is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

Training & Support

Thor has been responding well to commands and guidance and is kennel trained. Like all puppies, he will need continued patience, consistency, and a loving environment to build his confidence.

Thor is currently in Texas. Wags offers nationwide transport with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Real-time tracking, photo updates, and a private Facebook event page will be available for your pet's journey. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
