Meet Opal!

Opal is a sweet, resilient soul who is looking for a patient and understanding family to call her own. She had a rough start in life, which has made her a bit shy and slow to trust new people. She needs a quiet environment where she can set the pace and feel safe. But don't let her timid nature fool you! Once Opal feels secure, she blossoms into a goofy, playful girl with a huge personality. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is a tennis ball – watching her play with one is pure joy! She's formed deep bonds with our staff, showing that her heart is full of love, just waiting for the right person to share it with.

Ideal Home

Opal would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home where she can truly feel secure. She needs to be the only cat or dog in the household, with one very special exception: she adores Obsidian! They comfort each other, and if you're looking to adopt two best friends, they would make the perfect pair.

Ongoing Health

Opal is healthy and has no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Opal is still learning to trust and needs continued positive reinforcement to build her confidence. Her shy nature around strangers is something that will require patience and understanding.
