There is just something about Lucy Lou. Maybe it's the little freckles sprinkled across her nose, or the way she looks at you with those big, soulful eyes. She gives some of the sweetest cuddles we've ever seen, often climbing onto your chest and tucking her head onto your shoulder like a long, loving hug. This approximately 5-month-old, 25-pound girl is believed to be an American Bully mix, though with rescues, breed and age are always a bit of a mystery. She's a little thing with big dog features, and while she has some growing to do, we don't expect her to get much larger.
Lucy is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate puppy with an old soul. While other puppies might be causing chaos, Lucy is usually napping in the coziest spot. She's happy to entertain herself with toys and doesn't need constant attention. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion who fits into your day rather than demanding it revolve around her.
Lucy is fostered with two small senior dogs and absolutely adores them, often found snuggled up together. She has also done well with larger dogs, though she can be a little shy at first. She's been wonderful with cats, too, showing genuine excitement when meeting new feline friends.
This young pup already has impressive house manners. She's doing great with potty training, and her foster has found that she does well with a potty break every three hours. She sleeps through the night quietly and without any accidents or destruction.
Ideal Home
Lucy is flexible and could thrive in a home with a backyard or do well in an apartment. She just needs people to love, a few toys, a comfy nap spot, and plenty of cuddles. While we haven't seen her with children yet, her gentle and easygoing nature suggests she could be a wonderful family dog. We are happy to arrange a meet and greet if you have children.
Ongoing Health
Lucy is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will also receive a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable.
Training & Support
