Meet Libby Lou, a stunning 2-year-old, 39 lb velvety-soft Staffordshire Terrier mix. She’s an amazing young dog with so much love to give. Libby was adopted as a young puppy and was deeply loved until life circumstances changed, and her dad could no longer keep her. Libby has been in foster care and, while a little shy at first, she blossoms into the silliest, happiest girl once she decompress. Libby loves to run and chase balls (she doesn’t always bring the ball back!), but she always offers her best smile. Her sense of humor will keep you laughing! She enjoys snuggling on the couch and will follow you everywhere. Libby is a smart lady who knows all her commands and will happily show them off for a treat. She is good with children, though we suggest they be over 8, as she can startle easily in a new environment. Libby is also good with dogs her size or larger and loves to play and snuggle up with her doggie friends. She is crate and leash trained and house-broken. Libby Lou is an amazing dog whose heart was broken when she lost the only family she ever knew. She is looking for her new forever family to love and be loved.
Ideal Home
Libby Lou would thrive in a home with children over 8 years old. She is good with dogs her size or bigger. Libby Lou should not be placed in a home with cats, as she has a small animal prey drive and is too curious with them.
Ongoing Health
Libby Lou is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. She received a Proheart 6 injection, which provides heartworm prevention for six months, and has tested negative for heartworms.
Training & Support
Libby Lou is crate and leash trained and house-broken. She knows all of her basic commands.
