Sandy is the epitome of a family dog, always wanting to be in the middle of all the action. She thrives in a home environment, happily following her favorite humans, joining in on playtime, and accepting treats from all family members, no matter how small. Her curious nature means she's always checking in to see what's happening, from dinner preparations to homework sessions.

Sandy would do best in a home where her adopter can read her body language and respect her boundaries, helping her build confidence. She thrives in a busy household where she can quietly observe and participate without constant pressure. A home with a yard would be ideal for her to play fetch and explore. She also does well with other dogs, showing a particular soft spot for smaller canine friends, and has even lived harmoniously with chickens. Sandy is food-motivated and eager to learn new skills.

We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking and photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
