Ferrari is a charming 3-year-old, 50-pound bundle of love who hails from Texas! He's a medium-energy dog with a laid-back personality, perfectly content to spend his days napping, soaking up the sun, or supervising his humans' chores. Ferrari is reported to be friendly with dogs, cats, and children. He seems to have a soft spot for kids, often wagging his tail at the sight of a school bus, suggesting he's had positive experiences with children in the past. He generally ignores the resident cats in his foster home, showing a gentle nature.
Ferrari is quiet most of the day, perking up for walks and meal times. He can sometimes experience a little separation anxiety when left alone, but his foster family is actively working on this with him. He's a well-behaved boy who doesn't chew or damage things, and he knows how to entertain himself with his toys. He's already mastered commands like "sit," "lie down," and "come," and he's eager to learn even more. While he's still perfecting his leash manners, he's improving daily. Ferrari absolutely adores car rides, giving hugs, and meeting new people – he treats everyone like an old friend! He's also up for long hikes, though he's still gaining experience, he's a fast learner. Due to his tendency to overheat, he'll need some sort of cooling clothing when temperatures are above 80°F, and plenty of water. He's happy to carry his own water in his beloved backpack on longer adventures.

Ferrari would be a wonderful companion for a busy family or someone who spends most of their day at home. He enjoys a good hike and is adaptable to different living situations, even enjoying his crate if his humans are out and about.
