Meet Lacey! She's a delightful, approximately 1.5-year-old pup, weighing around 31 pounds, and is likely a boxer/terrier mix. Lacey is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and cuddle companion. She's small enough to be portable and curl up on the couch but sturdy enough to join you on hikes and explore the outdoors. Her personality is incredibly well-rounded; she's a social butterfly who gets along with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, is surprisingly chill with cats, and is absolutely obsessed with people. Lacey demonstrates impressive emotional regulation, confidently interacting with other dogs but knowing when to take a break. Inside, she transforms into a sweet, sleepy cuddlebug, balancing her active outdoor life with a calm, cozy presence at home. She walks beautifully on a leash and would be an excellent sidekick for walks, trips to the patio, road trips, or farmers markets.

Ideal Home

Lacey can thrive with playful dog siblings or as an only dog soaking up all the attention. She's adaptable and could do well in an apartment with an active family or in a home with a backyard. While she's shown great potential with cats, slow introductions or a cat test are recommended. She has not officially been around children but shows signs of being very family-friendly, and a kid-test can be arranged.

Lacey is fully vetted, microchipped, and up-to-date on all necessary medical care.

Training & Support

Lacey is crate-trained and treat-motivated. She generally makes life easier and is eager to please.

Lacey is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
