Rory is a 5-year-old, 57 lb husky/lab mix (though breed and age are estimates). She's an absolute sweetheart who truly blossoms when she feels safe and loved. Rory is house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go out with a gentle whine and a hopeful look. She enjoys playing fetch, though she might keep the toy as a souvenir! When she's not playing, she's a champion chair potato, happily curling up for naps and even snoring softly while watching TV with her people.

Ideal Home

Rory would thrive in a home with a yard and would love to be part of a family with children. She doesn't require another dog in the home, but she does need a cat-free environment.

Training & Support

Rory is a smart cookie who learns quickly and takes corrections well. She has basic leash skills and is continuing to learn in new environments. She is a rockstar in her crate and settles down easily for sleep. Rory knows basic commands like "sit" and "lay down."

Rory is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada.
