Zuko is a year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mix with a heart as big as his enthusiastic leaps! This boy is a bundle of joy, always ready to make new friends, both human and canine. He thrives on affection and play, and his happy-go-lucky attitude is infectious. Zuko is a well-loved and well-trained young dog who has already mastered house and crate training, and knows multiple commands. He enjoys his exercise, including joining his foster mom on runs, and he's also a master at settling down for a cozy nap. Zuko's playful spirit and love for life are sure to bring endless entertainment and love into your home.
Ideal Home
Zuko would love an active family who enjoys including their dog in daily adventures, walks, and outings. Apartment living has proven successful for him, provided he receives ample exercise, enrichment, and social interaction. While he can coexist with rabbits and would do well in a home without cats, a home with a confident, playful, and physically sturdy dog over 25 pounds would be ideal to match his exuberant play style.

Zuko is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Zuko has a strong foundation in training and manners. He is house and crate trained and knows multiple commands. While generally social and resilient, he can sometimes be pushy during play and may need gentle reminders about respecting other dogs' boundaries. He would benefit from a confident adult dog who can help guide him.

Transporation
Zuko is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT).
