Winy

Winy is a handsome 1-year-old Labrador Creole mix who weighs about 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, but is ready to travel to the East Coast on his next cross-country trip! Winy is a loving, intelligent, and obedient dog who enjoys playtime, walks, and lots of affection. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but he quickly warms up and melts into your arms. Winy is sociable with humans of all ages, including children, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He's also crate and leash trained, making him a well-behaved companion. Winy's journey began on March 8, 2024, when he and his six siblings were found in a field.

Ideal Home

Winy would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and are active families that enjoy outdoor activities. Potential adopters should have an open mind regarding the behaviors of rescued animals and a background in dog behavior and training. A high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are essential. Please note that Winy is not house-trained.

Training & Support

Winy is crate and leash trained. However, he is not house-trained, and potential adopters should be prepared to work on this with patience and understanding.

Transportation

Winy is currently located in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to departure and includes delivery to your home address.
