Milo

I'm Milo, a handsome black-and-white Boxer mix with energy for days. At 1 year old, I'm ready for an active home that can provide plenty of mental and physical stimulation. I'm neutered and have completed heartworm treatment.

I do best in an adult-only household and may thrive with one or two other dogs. Cats aren't a good fit for me. I'm a possible door dasher and can be mouthy, so I need a patient owner who will work with me on training and keep me engaged. I struggle when left alone, so a home where someone is around frequently would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Milo was heartworm positive and completed treatment. He will need heartworm prevention for the rest of his life.

Training & Support

Milo may dash through doors and can be mouthy. He will benefit from a patient owner who can continue working with him on training and keep him mentally and physically engaged.

• Adoption fee: $100
• Kennels are open to the public Thursday and Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
