Meet Duke, a handsome and charming 38-pound fellow with a heart of pure gold! We believe he's a delightful mix of Pointer and Border Collie, making him the perfect medium size – sturdy enough for adventures but cozy enough for snuggles. Duke is the ultimate sidekick, always ready to offer moral support and share your morning coffee. He's a smart cookie who is crate-trained and has achieved gold star status in potty training, with no accidents to report! He's also a true gentleman around children, having been gentle and patient with kids as young as six months old. Duke is a social butterfly with other dogs, thriving in a multi-dog household with friends ranging from tiny Shih Tzus to a giant Great Pyrenees. He loves a good game of chase and would be overjoyed to have a canine sibling in his forever home. While Duke hasn't met any cats yet, we're eager to arrange a kitty introduction to ensure a harmonious household!

Duke is a backyard enthusiast who dreams of a fenced-in yard where he can explore and play. He would prefer a quiet neighborhood where he can leisurely sniff every blade of grass, rather than a busy apartment environment.

Transporation
Duke is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
