Louie - OHIO ONLY

Louie is a charming 5-year-old male long-haired Dachshund with a heart full of love to give. Sadly, Louie experienced neglect for the first five years of his life, often being tied up outside or left in a room with little human interaction. Despite his past, Louie is ready for a brighter future with a patient and understanding family. He's a spirited boy who would likely do best with a male owner and needs a spacious yard to romp and play. Due to his long back, Louie should not live in a home with stairs. If there are other dogs in the home, they should be larger than Louie.

Ideal Home

Louie needs an experienced adopter who can provide him with the patience and understanding he deserves. A large, fenced-in yard is a must for him to safely explore and burn off energy. He cannot live in a home with stairs. If you have other dogs, they should be bigger than Louie.

Ongoing Health

Louie is a healthy boy, neutered and vaccinated.

Louie is working on building his confidence and may need continued guidance in adjusting to a loving home environment.

Transporation
