Petunia comes from an area with high shelter euthanasia rates for puppies due to lack of space. By adopting her, you're saving a life and creating space for another dog in need. Petunia is playful, curious, and affectionate, thriving in her foster home with multiple dogs, a cat, and young children. She's a natural at reading dog cues, making her a respectful companion. She adores people and loves being involved in family activities, whether it's playing in the snow or cuddling up for affection. Petunia has a wonderful balance of energy and sweetness, enjoying playtime and cozy naps. She's been gentle with the children and comfortable with the cat in her foster home.
Ideal Home
Petunia would thrive in a home ready for the adventure of raising a puppy, with a family that enjoys spending time together. Ongoing Health
Petunia is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed. She has a health certificate deeming her healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Petunia is still young and will need a family committed to training and socialization. Crate training is required immediately upon arrival to aid in potty training, energy management, and developing a well-balanced adult dog.

Transportation
Petunia is currently fostered in the Indianapolis, IN area. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
