Nell is a 5-year-old, neutered male Pitbull mix who weighs 58 pounds. He was found tied up and at risk of euthanasia at a county shelter in Houston, Texas. Thankfully, a foster family opened their hearts and home to him, and he's been a truly wonderful addition! Nell is an easygoing best friend who loves both playtime and cuddle time, making him a perfect match for many different households. He has a remarkably adaptable personality, settling into his foster home effortlessly and quickly becoming everyone's favorite laid-back companion. Whether he's engaging in a lively game of chase with his dog friends, basking in the sunshine, or simply leaning in for a hug, Nell's greatest joy is being with his people.
Ideal Home
Nell would thrive in almost any loving home. He'd be happy with a family, a couple, or a single adopter. He'd be content as an only dog or with canine siblings of any size, as he has gotten along well with dogs ranging from 12 to 55 pounds. Training & Support
Nell is fully house-trained and has excellent crate manners, resting quietly and sleeping through the night. He is also comfortable being crated for several hours and rides beautifully in the car. While he is a strong boy on leash and would benefit from continued leash training, he is otherwise an incredibly easy dog to live with. He's smart, playful, affectionate, independent when needed, and always eager for attention. Nell also alerts to visitors but remains calm and friendly once they are welcomed into the home.
