Meet Red, our longest resident and a true ray of sunshine! This handsome 4-year-old pittie mix is an energetic and affectionate boy with a zest for life. Red was rescued from a rural Florida shelter that was devastated by hurricanes Helene and Milton. After 1.5 years in our care, Red is still patiently waiting for his forever home, but he's been nothing short of wonderful. He loves playing in the yard, romping with staff, and soaking up all the snuggles from volunteers. Red is also fully housetrained and a favorite for doggy day outs and fosters. He's guaranteed to put a smile on your face with his happy-go-lucky spirit.

Ideal Home

Red is a social butterfly, preferring female companions when it comes to other dogs. With slow and proper introductions, he can become friends with all! He's an easygoing, lovable goofball who will shower his family with a lifetime of love.

Red is neutered and vaccinated.

Transporation

Red is located in South Carolina and we provide transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
