Tamera Honey is an approximately 12-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs 58 lbs. She is the epitome of a sweet, affectionate companion, always ready to shower you with love and attention. Her "all-in" kind of love is incredibly heartwarming, making every interaction feel special. Tamera Honey is also amazing with children, dog-friendly, and respectful around cats, showcasing her gentle and adaptable nature. She's a smart cookie, too, motivated by treats and eager to please, which makes training a joy. She knows several tricks and walks well on a leash with gentle reminders. Tamera is crate trained and potty trained, making her a well-adjusted member of the family.

Ideal Home

Tamera Honey would thrive in a semi-active home that enjoys neighborhood walks, a bit of adventure, and plenty of affection. A home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs and relax alongside you would be ideal. Apartment living will not be a good fit for her.

Training & Support

Tamera Honey is treat motivated and eager to please, already knowing many tricks! She walks fairly nicely on a leash and may pull occasionally out of excitement, but she responds well to gentle reminders. She is crate trained and potty trained. With consistency and treats, any additional training will be a fun and rewarding experience.

Transportation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
