Sambar

Sambar is an approximately 2-3-year-old German Shepherd mix with a playful, loyal nature and a heart full of love for his people. While his brother Moose is all about chasing tennis balls, Sambar is happiest simply being by your side. Whether you're relaxing at home, working in the yard, or taking a walk, Sambar enjoys following his people around and being part of the action. He is house-trained and would thrive in a home that can provide him with regular exercise, companionship, and continued training. If you're looking for a devoted companion who values time with his people above all else, Sambar may be the perfect addition to your family. His favorite place is wherever his people are, and he's ready to find a home of his own.

Ideal Home

Sambar must be the only pet in the home and is not a good fit for households with other dogs, cats, or small animals. Due to his size and strength, we also recommend a home without small children.

Ongoing Health

Sambar is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Sambar is house-trained and would benefit from continued training and clear guidance from an adopter who understands large-breed dogs.
