Peg

Peg is a sweet 2-3 year old girl who found herself pregnant and unclaimed as a stray. She did a wonderful job raising her six puppies and is now ready to find a loving home of her own to call her forever family!

Ideal Home

Peg is a gem with her known family and great with other dogs, enjoying playtime in a fenced yard. She would likely do best in a home that doesn't have a lot of visitors coming and going, as she can be a bit standoffish and defensive towards new people in her home, often barking and keeping her distance. She will warm up with time, but needs a patient family. She's a different dog in public, loving everyone she meets!

Ongoing Health

Peg is up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Training & Support

Peg is doing well with house and crate training, but will need a refresher in a new environment. She can get into a bit of trouble if bored and left uncrated, so puzzle toys or enrichment activities would be beneficial. She is not a barker, which is a wonderful trait!
